Upright Theatre Co. is a brand new theatre company seeking act submissions for their upcoming benefit show “Bright Beginnings.” Join Upright in their inaugural production as they celebrate their first anniversary of their formation with an evening of songs, scenes, music and laughter. Performers are asked to submit a video audition to auditions@uprighttheatre.org of them performing their act and/or singing 32 bars of a musical theatre song of their choice. The theme for the event is "Bright Beginnings" so Upright Theatre Co. encourages submissions to be celebratory in nature and reflect that theme as much as possible. Performers are asked to fill out an online audition form and email their video submissions by April 26. In the video submission, artists should also include their headshot and resume, along with a conflict calendar that can be found at the bottom of this page. Upright Theatre Co. seeks to showcase a diverse group of local artists of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
